ok, i jus bought a 1990 Accord, 4dr, F22A1 180k on it, needs some body work, and most of all engine work, its only poppin on 2 cylinders at the moment, and it sounds like a pist off gokart, in the span of about 10 minutes it will overheat, (pinhole in radiator, leaks coolant) and only the passenger side fan works,
Im new to these cars and would like to know what to look out for, what to check,
I paid $350 for the car, so i dont mind putting money into it

 

Low price. Only I don't know how long those quarters will stay on. must be a lot of bondo there. you could sink a lot of money into it. Question is: What do you want it to be? A POS winter beater? A show car? What?

 

I say paint job and stock wheels.

 

and the stock engines for those are cheap.. much under 500. or u can drop i f22b dohc in real easy and slightly more power

 

yup yup needs a lot of work....if i were you invest in new wheels and tires/engine work/maybe a paint job depending on your budget. i would of bought it for 350 too. is it manual or automatic?
