Default My bike was stolen last night.

Went out this morning to get on my bike to ride to work, which I've been doing for over a month now since my car's motor is blown, and my bike was GONE.

1997 Kawi ZX9, mint condition, just turned 10k last week. V&H pipe, jet kit, green windscreen, mini blinkers, custom tail eliminator kit.

If anyone in the Mass/northeast area comes across a ZX9 matching this description please let me know. I'm waiting for the cops to show up (it's been 1 1/2 hours since I called them) then I'm walking to work.

theives

I'm trying to buy a house, so this was probably the end of my riding days. Nice way to end it. Would have rather crashed it into a wall than have it stolen.

Shitty thing about your bike but I'm thinking crashing it into a wall would have hurt you as well. Hurt pride is a lot better than just plain getting hurt. You'll replace her eventually.

Sorry that sucks.
Post up a pic of your bike. I'm from the same area, I'll keep my eyes open. What town was it stolen from?

I'll post a pic after work, I have pics just none hosted right now. Stolen from Peabody, MA.

You're right, I guess my point was I would feel better if it was something I did that caused the bike to go away, rather than it just disappearing into thin air.

That sucks bro, good luck finding the ***** who stole it and hope your bike isn't too screwed. People always get theirs in the end, its hard to remember but it happens.

Sorry to hear that man. Stories like this make me want to call my insurance company up to double check my policy and also makes me want to leave my bike at my parents house locked up in a garage at all times.

Curious as to what security measures there are when you park your bike. ???

Yeah definitely want to know what security you were using. Or what method you suspect they used to get it.

the bars were locked and I had the cover on it. I have parked it in the same spot for almost 4 years, directly outside my apartment's front door.

It was so loud, if they had started it my neighbors and myself would have been awake in a HEARTBEAT.

My best guess is that they pulled up in a truck/van, two or three guys jumped out, threw it into the truck and jetted in under 20 seconds. NICE.

here are some pics, didn't post them last night because I got ******* hammered. drown the sorrows...

I don't even like seeing these pictures, I miss it so much already.

hope they find the thieves on your bike and arrest them. What kind of security?

will your insurance pay for a new one?
