ive been reading a lot of posts lately about cars being stolen and its making me sick....it made me remember about my 2000 Civic SI....it was stolen in hempstead NY at hofstra university and was never found!!! just wondering if anybody has seen it around the Island or knows anybody with a fresh b16a2 swap or parts...something needs to be done with this theft issue its BS...its sad that a bmw and a rx-8 was parked next to me and not touched....whats this world coming to lol well here is the pics that i didnt know how to post a few months ago when i posted...it had GSR rims on the front when it was stolen!

i dont know about all this man, worrying about your car getting stolen must suck. Mine is locked 24/7 in my garage.. i drive the beater to malls, dinner, movies, pickup the girlfriend.. only take the coupe to the track or out for a drive on nice days. Im not worried about it getting stolen, but you guys seem so calm about it.. like trying to have "better theft protection" next time.. **** that, if someone touched my car i would ******* kill them, or try to anyways. i dont **** around about that ****.. you touch my car and you better have something to defend yourself. The first thief that get's his face smashed in beyond recognition will set the example.

I lived in Long Island NY for a while, i am so glad i got out by the time i got a car...that place is full of thieves

 

Heh.... I live in NJ. It sucks here too. Gang of theifs out this bitch. It sucks, and I dont have a garage. My house has a gate around it and I park all the way in the backyard next to my shed. Really theres no way out but the driveway and they are going to have to push the car through thick *** grass and get in the car to release the e-brake before they do that.

I got a 94 Ford Escort beater that I drive EVERYWHERE!

sorry to hear man...i remember a while back i read a thread about a kid getting his car stolen from outside of a store, but the fucked up thing about it was the kid purposley unhooked the ECU and brought it in the store with him hoping that no one would steal his car...then as he was walking out of the store he seen his car driving away, its getting really sad! one of the only nice things about living in a small town.

 

Tommy right....why the change of your username? Do you remember me...my Si was for sale and you talked to me for about 2 weeks, told me you wanted to meet up, i even held off selling it on ebay for you.....and you just completely stopped talking to me never to be heard from again!

 

yeah i remember u!! i didnt have the amount of money you wanted..... the insurance kinda screwed me in the ***...sorry man your car is sick!!! i found a cheap del sol though so i bought that so i could have money to put into it...

 

p.s i had an alarm and the club on my SI for whoever wants to know.....the club is **** ill never use one again...the new car will have alot of security ****

I feel you man, I had my car stolen about three weeks ago and all I can do is think about security.

I'm in queens and work on LI.

I just got my car back from the paint shop. Had the car put back to stock. Still doesn't look quite stock but I tried. Got to move the pillar gauges and then remove that big *** muffler. Going completely slealth!!!

queens is really known for theft...i guess thats all u can do now is try and make it look stock....
