steering wheel

How do I straighten out my steering wheel? It is turned counterclockwise about 5 inches when the wheels are straight.

Actually if the wheels are straight and the wheel is off you will want to adjust the steering wheel, just remove the 19mm nut at the end, take off, and trial and error.
