So im looking to get rid of the automatic. I guess does any one have any write ups or how tos and what parts are needed for it? Or should i go and do the whole h22a1 and tranny swap and write up and what not for that. Thanks

it depends on how much money you got, as far as simplicity the h22-transmission combo is a good choice, just make sure it comes with everything for the swap.

I did the swap about 3 years ago on my prelude. Yes, it is labor intensive - took about 18 hours of straight work for 2 people. We took an engine/tranny from a wrecked parts car. It is easiest to do the swap if you have a parts car to take all the parts (including clutch line, bolts, pedal assemblies, etc.) from. Otherwise, you would drive yourself crazy!

 

Hey Luder 94si , im doin this swap in a couple of months. I need the 5spd brake pedal assembly correct? Is this just straight foward unbolt the auto brake pedal assembly and bolt in the 5spd brake pedal assembly? Thanks
