so I want my ac back on, thinking about ordering everything, and just seeing how much it would be to have honda dealer put it in? Anyone wanna guess how much they would charge me to put a complete ac system back on my 93 vtec?

 

i tried to put my AC on but theres a lot of work. You have to get the condensor and main unit in and its a pin in the ***. I cant give many details but i tried it and i failed . I think im just gonna take it in somewhere to get it done, but the 320 dollars dont make it worth it.

 

what did you take out?
give a list of what you need....

compressor :$415
condenser: $215
accumulator: $100

plus belt, any hoses, new o-rings, and charging it. then labor too....

probably about 1000 if you need all of that above....

 

i have all of the parts, i was just quoted at 320 to get it installed back in.

My ac compressor was bad when I bought the car. I replaced it when I did my swap. Now all I have to do is get it recharged.

Yeah, that's why I just want to restore my Prelude. I didn't want to pull out any of the convenince parts even though everyone said to. I want my car sport, yet comfortable. Taking out the AC, power steering, etc will just make me get tired of the car soon. NOT what i want to happen.
