My friend finally got to up the boost on his 99 gsr and we went out racing the last 2 nights.

This car was tuned by Tony Palos.
He dyno'd 312hp 214tq on 10psi (wastegate spring)
On 14psi tony1 tuned it to 370hp and 247tq
Last night on 21psi it put down 452hp and 316tq on race gas.
Anything over 21psi it was blowing out spark since he dosent have a ignition box, the plug are ngk-9-s and they had to drop the gap to .022
All these dyno #'s are on a dynojet
I'll get the dyno pics up tonite.

This was a rsx on 8psi, i think the kit is a ctybernation kit, we were on the 10# wastegate spring, so we were @10psi, and a 40 roll.
RsxVs.10psi

This was a srt-4 dont know what the mods were, had open downpipe, but was faster than stock.went from a 40 roll here.
SRT-4Vs.21psi

This is a monte carlo on spray that is setup to launch, after this race we hit a stoplight, when it turned green he lifted the left front and took off hard! In the vido he jumped out from our 20mph roll.

This was our best race of the night, a modded ls1 camaro, he had a cam, headers, intake, was told by all his friends that he ran a 11.6 1/4,dynoed 411Rwhp, was a very fast car.we went from a 40 ish roll.

Sorry the videos are all on race gas and 21psi except the rsx race, the guy wanted to see what his rsx would do against him wastegate to wastegate.

 

what's his setup?

do i see stock radiator?? does he have a fan mounted on the other side replacing one of the stock ones?

neukin non-ac manifold?

 

Its the nuekin a/c manifold with a turbonetics 60-1 and a 81mm darton sleeved block.

Your link no workie, but he is only using a slim fan on one side of the rad, hes looking into getting a del sol dual core to free up more room under there. Sorry about the videos, when a car is accelerating that fast its hard to not look ahead

are you sure the link doesn't work? it's the thread that requests pics of people's return line with the neukin mani... only the non ac version has been posted... but people like i am requesting to see with the ac version... he runs fine with the stock radiator right? i'm trying to save as much as i can, so if it's functional with the stock gsr radiator, i'm sticking to that.
