Default Exedy clutch problems

I just put and exedy clutch in my car, everything worked great for the first 1000 miles or so. Now i cant not get the car into gear when its running. The pressure plate is still grabing, so i have to turn the car off and put it in first then revmach my shifts. No matter how much i adjust the cable the cluth still lets off 1/2" from the floor. I have already change the cable too. I dont really think the clutch fork could be bent becasue they seem to be pretty damn strong. Anways my question is, do you think the pressure could just be junk, its a brand new clutch so i dont understand why it would just go out like that. Any info would be apreciated.

where did you get it from? some of the ebay exedy clutch kits come with just an exedy clutch disc and no name pressure plate and bearings. it seems like a bent fork to me did you double check everything?

damn then it must be the pressure plate. i would call prostreet first and tell them whats up maybe they will replace it if not give exedy a call and tell them thier product is no good. but if it were me i would take the tranny off first to make sure you know exactly what the problem is. good luck.

You might want to see if it's the clutch cable, I had something like that happen to me a little bit after I replaced my clutch. Got a new clutch cable and problem solved, the old one was toast.

I replaced the cable with another one i had laying around and nothing changed. It has to be either the pressure plate or the clutch fork. I can tighten the clutch cable so tight that the pedal is rock had and even then when i push the pedal all the way to the floor I still get the same thing.

More and more bad news I'm hearing from exedy

If you need a new pressure plate check my site in my sig, I know the act pressure plate for the crx is around 60 bucks. I might be able to cut you a deal to, know the bad luck you have been threw.
