Default Going from 18's to 16's... what profile tire?

My current ride height is perfectly how i want it w/ eibach sportlines. I need to switch out my fatass wheels for some lighter rims though.

currently i have 225/40/18 on my ride what do you recommend for 205/??/16 that won't lower the car and retain a decent sidewall (not no 70 profile)?

the faq has a list of good tire sizes for 16" wheels and a calculator to figure out if you'll retain the same overall diameter.

A 205/55/16 will be almost Identical. It will be doing 59.5mph at 60mph with this size.

The 205-45's look clean....but I personally like the 215-40. It gives you a little bit wider foot print, and still keeps a low-profile look. Very very cool size!

yea but thing is i have a lip kit as well and the front lip is a greddy which sits really low. io'll probably go with a 50 or 55 profile 16.

Thanks for the replies.

****, didn't pay any attention to your avatar....do you drive an Accord? If you have an Accord then yes, you need to go with a 205-50-16...

50 will look ok on 16's and the ride will be a little smoother
