Junk2 is a waste of time and money

JG sheetmetal IM is the best IM you can buy for a H22 be it NA or FI. They are custom built per application. They can be made for any size motor, to work in any RPM range, with any size TB and with or with out provisions for all stock sensors.

I run JG sheet metal IM's on my drag motors and street motor.

Theyve also been on several pro motors, some of which were making 320+WHP NA and 700+ FI

both of which were never intended for NA use. The plenum volumes are much too large and the runners a way too short to be of any use with your average NA 2.2 or 2.3

No, not at all. People dont realize that you lose power and torque untill maybe 200 rpm before redline where it will MAYBE gain 1WHP.

Its a big waste of time.

Each is custom, it can be made to use whatever you want or need to use. Just specify when ordering.

No, I dont work for JG.

The companies in my sig are companies that have helped me along with the progression of my drag car.

BTW, this is based on fact.

How many 300+ WHP NA or 700+WHP FI cars do you see out there with Skunk2 IM's?

How many are out there with JG sheet metal IM's?

That should tell you something right there

Rick, what do you think of a good diy itb setup (46mm tbs) versus the jg sheetmetal im?

im very interested in which, because the itbs seem like a huge pain in the ***....

oh yeah and what about the euro R im?

I dont like the DIY motorcylce ITB's at all. People have gotten them to work but not to perform well. I also think 56mm is a little on the small side for the H22.

If you want to go the ITB route for a street car Id recomend 1 of a few things:

1. TWM 50mm 2000 series/AEM EMS
2. Jenvey 48mm - Custom RMF ITB manifold/AEM EMS

Hondata + ITB's = weak sauce

AEM EMS is a must w/ ITB's.

But to be honest with you, power output will be about the same between a good IM such as the JG unit and a set of ITB's. Single plenum IM's are easier to tune as well.

My drag motors run single plenum set ups. I may do some testing with ITB's later on down the road. But for now, the flow numbers attained and maintained with my JG IM have been exceptional.

Not available for the H22 and not worth the 1200+ price tag IMO either

They have one IM for the B series motors that is meant for a huge HP FI application. I dont think Ive seen one on a competitive car yet though.

Im sure they can conjure something up for a NA H22 but you better prepare yourself to pay $3K+ for it

The JGE looks a nice bit of kit, any idea on prices for a H22 intake manifold.

wow thats about 1/3 of the price i was expecting....now just need the dyno...would be better on a 220ish whp engine rather than 300+whp n/a engine that none of us will ever have....

There are so many people on this board who run the jG sheetmetal IM. PM B19Coupe, RHD... Those are just 2 that I can think of off the top of my head.

Also, E-mail Javier and ask for a dyno sheet. The guy has an in house DTS and can pretty much supply you a dyno sheet of anything you can think of.
