should i get 215/50/15 or what?
and what tire brand should i go with?

I think a 16x7 rim with 205/45/16 tires work out well.

i have 17x7 with 205/40/17 now, and i really dont like the harsh ride.

205's are a little too small on a 15" wheel. At least on my 15x7 Rotas theyre too stretched for my liking. I plan on switching to either 215 or 225's once I kill these 205's

 

a 7" wide rim would fall around a 205-225. Its your choice. 225 would probably bulge, 215 and 205 will fit nicely

 

i run 225/50-15 on my 15x7.5" wheels. i love having the eaxtra meat under the car. it will make the steering feel heavier, but i think the extra footprint and grip are worth it.

i think you'll find plenty of tires at that size. if you need pictures, i can find some of my car.

 

I've got 225/50/15's BF Goodrich Gforce TA/KD's on my 15x7 Rota Slips and love them. Stick like glue in the dry. A little slick in the rain, but not too bad. I wouldn't race them in the wet, but they are fine for normal driving.
