i have a 05 civic d17. i want 2 swap the head for sohc vtech. how should i go about this? if posible.

 

i have an '04 D17, i thought they were SOHC vtec already??????

 

you'l need at the minimun a complete d17a2 head inlcuding soliniod and a vafc 2 to adjust fuel and engage vtec. a better way would be getting an ex ecu and have it flashed for your key also. I don't think its worth the effort, expect minimal gains.
Just wait for crower's d17 cam to come out and pop one of those in there.
