Default Civic Sedan Owners Thread Only.

PLEASE VISIT MY SITE! http://wwwefcivicsedan.kazorum.com/

First off this thread is for sedan owners or people that have serious questions about the sedan. if you simply feel like screwing around you will be reported. This is the new sedan thread. due to the last thread being run into the ground it was lost. a link to it can be found at https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1018815.

the new rules for this thread will be
#1. PLEASE DONT POST PICS!!!!!!!!! ONLY LINKS TO PICS WILL BE OK! THIS IS A TECH FORUM AND A TECH THREAD!!

#2. positive and negative comments will be allowed but if they are not appropriate such as bashing they will not be tolerated. we are all adults here guys.

#3. please try to keep this thread on topic. anything related to the sedan can be posted but nothing about anything else unless its somehow tied into the sedan.

More rules will be added as they are needed.

To all the guys from the old thread, don't bother posting pics that were in the old thread. they can still be found at the link to the old one.

Thanks everyone. happy driving!

Anyone found a cheap C/F hood for these cars yet? Maybe with the ZC bulge?

Also... how about rear quarter repair panels?

And here's my baby...

Spent all day trying to get rid of the phantom trunk leak I have. Installed new trunk weatherstrip but that didn't help... turns out it's the gaskets around the taillights. I have new ones just need to find them. Whoever took the taillights out before me didn't put the gaskets on right; they bunched up and allowed a lot of water to leak in.

Also removed the stock third brakelight and mounted a LED bar at the top of the rear window. I have pics if anyone wants to see them... I have no way to host them. I'm not even sure if I like it yet, but I'll figure it all out if I do or not before I get the car back on the road.

today my sedan was detailed nice. i have trouble with my lights to. the fronts and the right rear get a little water in them. not much so i dont look at it as a major problem yet though. a few drips can be seen thats all. next weekend i might paint my steelies black. i'm not sure if we have any paint yet though.

does anyone know how to adjust how the trunk lines up when it closes? it lines up perfectly on the passenger side, but on the drivers side it sits up about a quarter inch above the quarter panel, and along the rear sits out about the same. i would like to get it lined up to make my crap colored car look a little cleaner.

thanks,'
Parker

i'm not sure why you would want to to that... the auto h22 makes less power then the normal one and i dont know that there are mounts for that either.

with the dohc zc, check the timing and the tps switch.
