Default Quick help: Placing Racing mounts?!!!!!!!

We're busting our *** trying to get the passenger/driver's mounts in.

Tell me, is it easier to have the mounts bolted onto the motor first? or not bolt it in all the way?

It just seems like if the mounts are bolted onto the motor, there is about a centimeter gap that just wont allow us to get one side in, if the other is bolted in.

Quick help!

thanks HT

i think we did it this way
1. bolt tranny mount to trans. and put that one in

then support motor with jack from the bottom and put the mount on the motor (not fully tightened) and higher it until you can bolt it in....

then the back mount, the bitch one, just push the motor towards the back of the car and bolt the last one in

im pretty sure thas how we did it

well, i just did mine 2 days ago, and the way i found easiest was to take both side mounts off, and worry about the rear mount first. get the rear bolt into place, and then the passenger mount to the tranny, then lift it a little bit and it will slide right into place. then the drivers. it was a very simple process, because the rear mount aligned everything for me
