o2 sensor in exhaust tip?

Default o2 sensor in exhaust tip?

i seen a guy running a h22 turbo nitrous at the track and he had the o2 sensor mounted in the exhaust tip.. why did he do that??

sure it was an o2 sensor and not a sparkplug for a flame thrower ? If it was the o2 sensor which one the main one or the one by the cat ? Who knows........

doesn't make sense to me either, I can only see that delaying the ECU's reading of whats going on. I don't even see the emissions changing since the exhuast would NOT get cleaned up on its way back there. Actually now that I think of it... its totally useless! unless someone can enlighten me
