Default Opinions on a 98' VFR400R?

I'm thinking about buying a bike, and this particular one fits into my budget but I want to know a little more about it. Does anyone in here have any personal experience with them? Anything you can say about this bike would be apreciated.

Thanks in advance

I doubt you'll get alot of personal experience here, since the bike isnt sold in the US. The 400 class doesn't really exist here

I see. Well, like I said, any info anyone could give about this bike is welcome. Links, resources, etc...

You could try there. If you're never ridden a bike before you'll probably have a lot of fun on it. Eventually you'll find it lacking in straight forward power. Its really at home in the twisties and on the track.

http://www.400greybike.co.uk is your best bet for 400cc bike info. Lots of guys on that board that knows their stuff. Great place to look for parts too.

I have a '91 VFR400 (NC30) and its a fun little bike. Handles great and is light but little low on power (about mid 50hp stock) though. Parts can be expensive since youre in So. America. You can also check out http://www.tyga-performance.com for mods

That bike is hot, I'd definitely rock that on the track.
