Default b16a v-tech problems

Ok i recently put my b16a in my crx and i didn't have the money to buy the wiring harnesses for the v-tec, so i just wired it, 4 wires including grounding one out. I didn't put the pins in the plugs, but i stripped the end of the wires and pushed them into the plugs and then taped the wire to the plug so it didn't fall out. Now the v-tech isn't working and the check engine light is on. Also how do i get the computer to blink the codes. Thanks ahead of time.

Just pushing the wires into the pins is not good enough.
You should solder the wires in or get the correct pins.
When I did mine I got a harness from a junk yard and used the pins
and wires from that.
You will also want shielded wire.
I did not use shielded wire at first and my engine threw a code.
I think the knock sensor is especially sensitive to that.

Finally to read the codes, pull your carpet back. You will have to remove your
ECU cover.(I am assuming you have the JDM ECU).
Since the JDM ECU was originally on the other side you can see the LED
with the USDM ECU cover on.
Turn your key to the aux position.
The ECU should then blink the codes.

Code 6 ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

Code 9 CYP Sensor (Cylinder)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
* not a valid code for any throttle body injection Hondas
** not a valid code for V-6 engines

Code 1 Oxygen Sensor "A" (Primary)

If you get a code 6.....Go to any honda B series motor and Pull out the TW sesor...Make sure you have all the right connectors in the right place....
Code 1: get a new o2 sensor....
Code 9: Replace sensor....check wiring....

Get some Butt splices and go to your junkyard and rip out the ecu connector A/B/C pieces and practice pulling pins....then Clip those pins....and use the 18ga shielded wire from the harness you cut and then splice it/crimp on the wire running from your 3 sensors....and don't forget all your ground....
Thermostat
Valve cover
Trans
Alternator
there's more but just look around on the cars harness and bam....

ok, i reset my computer and the code 9 is gone, i still need to replace the o2, and the other one and then i need to take the pins out of a different plug and attach the wire to it and push it in the plug on my car(i hope thats right) and after that i need to know if anyone can give me a vacume line diagram, note that my motor has 2 sensors on the intake where hoses connect. please help me figure this out, i would like my v-tec working.

vacuum lines-map sensor/fuel pressure reg to intake manifold. Cap off any other ports on the intake manifold.

The two sensors on the intake manifold- iat sensor (located on the #1 runner) and the iacv (on the back facing firewall).
