Default When clutch is engaged, RPMs drop to close to 0

Hey guys, like the title says: When I am driving, no matter what gear or how fast, when I push in the clutch to change gears or just put in the clutch to coast or something, the RPMs fall to close to 0. It makes driving very bumpy. Has this ever happened to anyone? Anyone give me suggestions for where to look? Thanks!

does this happen when you sit at a stop light? sounds like you arent getting enough air into your engine.

Did you adjust your IACV?

do you have a lightened flywheel/crank pulley? because that'll decrase the rotational inertia and let the revs drop faster.

how would you do that? There's nothing to adjust!

Anyways, I think your idle speed is too low. Try increasing it.

I think he meant clean it. And meant adjust your tps. Make sure it reads ~.5v at idle. And 4.5V at full throttle.

I would look at the iacv first. And second, what's the condition of your tranny? The throwout bearing may be freezing up. Just a thought.

Are you saying that the car can be just idling in nuetral and you push in the clutch and the rev's drop? Or does it do it when you put it in gear?

If it is neutral idling it idles around 750 rpm....if I put it in the clutch when it is in neutral it doesn't effect it.
some notes: we just built the tranny (ZC/Si gearing) so it should be good.
I have a stage 2 exedy racing clutch and fidenza lightened flywheel...I don't think the flywheel would cause it to change this much. I also have CAI so I should be getting enough air at least into the throttle body. Also, I have VAFC-1. Haven't really messed with it yet so could that be that it isn't set right?

it is immediately when the clutch is engaged...doesn't matter what gear or how high rpms. and then when I release the clutch after putting into the next gear, the rpms shoot up so it is very bumpy. should i try with the IACV and TPS?
