Default Car starter?

I got a 97 accord, with 80k miles. With my new job I've been starting my car about 8-10 times a day. I usually have to make a few drop offs and cant really leave the car running due to the bad area i am in sometimes. And also sometimes im in the building for like 10-15 minutes.

Will starting the car 8-10 times cause any excessive wear? I feel bad for the starter. Is there anything I can do to keep my starter lasting? Or is this perfectly normal?

Also when do the starters usually go?

Yeah, a remote start would be a good investment. Manual or automatic.
