Default Looking for part name....Help please.

I'm trying to figure out the name of the part where you turn on your Standby Lights/Headlights/Blinkers? You know, that black arm looking thing, did a search on yahoo and tried on here but didn't get anything.
Mine somehow broke internally and now my standby lights won't come on and it sounds like something is breaking everytime I turn on my headlights. My taillights/standby lights/interior cluster lights won't come on and it smells like something is burning?
Has this happened to anybody else? Dealership wants $125 for the part and $180 for labor to fix, I'm not sure if this part is Type-R specific, do all acura integra models use this same part #? Can I go to the junk yard and get one off another integra to fit my 2001 ITR?

Thanks for the info in advance guys!!

You can get any Integra ('94-'01) switch. It's really easy to replace. Definitely not $180 worth of labor. I forgot if you have to take off the steering or not, but that should be the most time consuming part. After that it's just taking off the steering column plastic cover, then removing 2-3 phillips head screws & wiring attached to the switch.

If you plan on keeping your car for a while, call up len @ baranco and buy a new one. Who knows what conditioin junk yard's switch would be.

headlight / turnsignal combination switch. to replace it, take trim pieces off the column behind the steering wheel, then turn the steering wheel to the left to expose the two screws that hold the combo switch in place, remove the screws, unplug and slide it out.
don't remove the steering wheel.

Thanks guys, the dealership told me I would have to remove steering wheel, I didn't want to go through that much trouble for a switch.

would not be cheaper to just go to a junk yard and get one from a crashed DC integra...they are all the same aren't they?

Well I plan on keeping the car for a long time soo I don't think I would want to chance a junk yard part. I'm going to get it new, but I'm checking websites for the best prices.
