I just put a obd0 b16a in to my 1990 si, but my vtec does not feel as strong as my friends which is a obd1, is there a difference? What makes the difference? Thanks Guys

 

were are you at in ohio?
the difference might be because you have the sir I which is rated at 160hp and he has the sir II which is rated at 170 hp

Especially considering you're going to make it back up with your cams, etc..

you running a pr3 or a pwo ecu?

 

obd0 b16a torque is 15.5 kgm which is 109.8 lb ft

obd1 b16a2 torque is 16 kgm which is 113.4 lb ft

the extra 3.6 lb ft isn't worth the $1000 or the hassle of the obd1 conversion, is it?
