no it cannot be changed with a avcr, but if you have a standalone like I do, its good to monitor the injector duty cycle if I make changes to my fuel map although I can calculate the duty cycle too without it. Nice features regardless instead of just looking at your boost controller. There's about 6 inputs that you can monitor 4 of which can be displayed at a time.

problem with that is...

its just as easy to steal out in the open like that. I've got mine velcro'd so I can mount it under the steering column when I'm gone. It's unfortunate but it's a reality.

so where do you mount yours when your using it? on top of the steering column? making me think now. Maybe i'll mount mine on top of headliner like dustin's AFC, maybe they wont see it?

Dustin, did you use the mounting bracket for your AFC ? Are you still able to pull the visor out?

Yep, I used the bracket:

I was going to put my AVC-R there, but the way the wiring harness is designed I did not have enough wire and I did not feel like hacking up the APEXi harness at the moment.

I had no trouble with the visor, although you had to unclip it and pull it under the unit first.

I have my AVC-R mounted on my steering wheel column myself, kinda like being able to see my speed/tach/avc-r all in one shot

Anybody wanna share their AVC-R settings? I know I've been doing alot of screwing around with mine latley, the duty settings to be exact and I've finally gotten the car to spool alot quicker (stupid me really for not thinking of it sooner).

memory playback up to 60secs.
Hell yea!! I used that 2 graph playback to help me set my duty setting to a flatter boost curve, I also use it at the track to see how/where my spikes were occuring etc.. that thing is invaluable!!
