ok i went to my local junkyard today and scored a pair of del sol seats for free now i got home and swapped the seat pans on to the del sol seat.. and now the top wont fit!!! i jerry riged it to wor k for now but now i feel like i'm laying down when i drive not to mention i feel like i'm on the floor doing it. if anybody has ever put del sol seats in their car is their a diffrent way? i'd like to keep the since my si's ar ripped to hell

 

I have del sol seats in my crx , it will be a little complicating to explain but here goes nothing

I used the brackets from my crx,
i made an L type bracket that goes from the hole at the base of the back on the sel sol seat and bolts to the crx rail
and used steal strap to run from the mounting holes on the del sol seat to the mounting holes on the crx rails

If this makes sense , and you want pics i just so happen to have one of the seats out of the car right now so i can take pics

Wow, good job on the custom bracket to m8 the upper portion of the seat to the bottom. Can you recline still? I've seen this done a little differently by other people. Not bad.

 

yup i can recline slide the seats front to back just like when they were in the del-sol no problems and i have had them in for 6 or 7 months
