god i wish i could drive a miata i really love them, but i just cant seem to bring myself to cruising one of the "cute" little cars.

 

miatas are freakin awesome man. just buy one already!

 

damn this makes me miss my miata...

but in all honesty, miatas are great great cars. see if you can get a 1.8l (these have lsd)
and stay away from 90-91

If I had more money, I'd buy a Miata in a heartbeat. I drove an early model, originally with 1.6L but swapped to 1.8L with LSD and short gear ratio, I/H/E, full coilovers...DAMN! That thing was fun as hell, supposedly hit like 9.3's in the 1/8th. That Miata parked behind my car made my 'sport-compact' look like a HUGE car!

yeah i dont think theres anybody out there under 6' tall who has driven a miata without loving it.

my buddy had a 1.8, we supercharged it with a smaller pulley, added aftermarket engine management system, big rc injectors, some good suspension, roll bars, short shifter (sooo short in those cars), and a crapload of other goodiess.

it was THE MOST THRILLING GO CART EVAR!!!

and then it got stolen
