Default 60k Tune-up on Prelude

Hey Guys,
I've gotta friend that's going to do a 60k tune-up on a 98 Prelude and he wants 300 bucks. I do know that this includes replacing NGK Platinum Spark Plugs, however i'm not sure of what else is included in the tune-up.

My question is what is the regular price at the dealership for the 60k, and if you guys think i'd be getting ripped off to get it done for $300? Thanks in advance.

Huy

ROFLMAO!

You're "friend" wants to charge you that!?

No friend if you ask me...

Tune-up mainly consisits of plug wires, plugs, dis. cap & rotor, valve adjustment, any leakin' gaskets, carbon-clean up, etc...

Total cost for parts and tools is less or around hundred!

Sounds like Dealer prices. Unless you have an extended warrenty that you are VERY worried about, do it yourself. Definatly don't pay a "friend" that kind of money!

unless he's doing a timing belt too (which isn't *needed* until 90k) then you're being ripped. LOL
