Default GReddy Turbo Kit for 92-95 Civic...

This may be a frequently asked question... But I did a few different searchs, and turned up nothing. (i.e greddy turbo gains, greddy turbo gain, greddy turbo power etc). So I suppose I will proceed with my question.

I have a 1994 Civic EX, stock internals. I am planning on purchasing the GReddy (TD40H-15G) kit for my car. I'm going ahead, and ordering the Front Mount Intercooler as well, along with a GReddy Type S Blow-Off Valve, 450cc DSM Injectors, AEM High Volume Fuel Rail and FPR, straight back exhaust, and an upgraded Fuel Pump (I've been told to get a Walboro 255).

So considering I have stock internals, what power gains am I looking at here?

Thanks in advance,

1. Do not buy the Greddy intercooler kit w/piping. Rip-off IMO for $600-650. Buy a new or used FMIC and make your own piping - $250-300 total.

2. You do not need the fuel rail or FPR.

3. A 60mm exhaust is fine, 2.5" or 3" isn't really necessary.

4. Get the Walbro 255lph pump.

5. Uberdata, Hondata, AEM if you've got the $. All good ****.

6. You'll love your Greddy Type-S BOV. I love mine.

7. At 5 psi, you'll probably make around 145-155whp. Add 10whp for every lb. of boost. The max you should run on your stock internals is about 10-11 psi, which equates to ~ 200-210whp.

Good resonse

The only thing is, I don't think the small Greddy turbo will net a 10hp per 1psi increase. I would think it would be less than that.

Yeah, and don't buy that Greddy intercooler kit, not worth it.

Well thanks for the response guys.

Over all I am not looking for massive Horse Power gains, I am looking for quick response, seeming as I mostly do Auto Cross racing, and response is everything in that form of racing.

But I think this kit should suffice for my needs... And I'll make a point to make my own intercooler set-up, appreciate the advice

Thanks again,

Just threw this kit on our EK hatch with modification. It's a nice kit, gives decent gains over stock and makes the car fun on the highway

Oh ya and screw the Type-S get the Type-RS (Check SIG..hehe)
