NEED HELP, spark plugs hitting pistons
well, i went to start my motor yesterday for the first time and it wouldnt start so i took out the spark plugs and shined a flash light down in their and sure enough.. the pistons are hitting the spark plugs. so at this point i dont know what to do....
the set up:
b18b stock rods/jdm itr pistons (factory bore)
b18c1 head, buddy club spec III+ cams, itr springs/retainers, head has been decked (not sure how much has been taken off but the tab on the head shows its still plunty good)
spark plugs are gapped at 32 (ngk 1 step colder plugs)
factory 3 layer head gasket
what should i do?

Are you absolutley sure they are hitting the pistons. The dome volume on a ITR piston is not that high. Has the block been decked a ton? Are the pistons out of the hole at all?
I have a 7.7cc dome and my block is decked .010 and my head is shaved .030 and I don't have piston to spark plug contact. I have autolite 3906's.
