Car: 88' CRX Si
motor: 1g- B16A (XSi swap) S1 tranny
Problem: When ever I turn Left, there's a clunking noise coming from my Passenger side wheel.

I just jacked up the front-end and looked at the cv boots,and there's no leaks,cuts or cracks. Now I need help determining what else it could be. By the way. The axcel on the passenger side was replaces about 6months ago. If that help any.

 

although the boot is still intact, the CV joint may be damaged...

 

is there anything else I can check befor having o replace the axcel?

 

well you could put the front end on jackstands and get someone to get in the car, get the wheels moving a little bit and turn the steering wheel to the noisy side. you stick your head under and see if you can see anything...that might not tell you anything though, because the wheels will be hanging low instead of staying at the normal height...but who knows, you might notice something. just wear safety goggles.

 

Well looks like I might just have to replace it and see if it still keeps making that noise.

 

my guess is the axles
