can you just go to a local body shop and have them use high temp paint
i think i wanna get my old gsr cover smoothed out and then painted yellow, sort of a spoon imitation

something like that should be powder coated. it will look a lot better and last much longer. should not cost you much either.

there is a guy here in naples who does great work. its takes hima little while if you dont set a fire under his ***...lets just say he likes his weed

 

Your garage. I did my cover, get sandpaper and smooth it out and paint it with hi temp paint. Had mine for over a year, still looks good.
