I haven't heard of too many RSX's being stolen yet. I understand the computerized key prevents a lot of theft. However, my guess is that when/if K20 swaps become more popular, you'll see theft rates rise.

The K20 is the new hotness, they are going to eventually try to steal them.

If thieves want it bad enough they always find a way to take it.

They will steal anything if they want it. If you wanna try and preven anything. Alram system, lo jack, fuel pump cut off switch, battery cut off switch, ecu cut off switch, or just take the ecu out.

That would help if you had the guys trying to drive your car away...problem is, with this car, most likely this wont be the case. Go read the ITR threads, seems like one per week gets stolen...some of the best alarm systems out there, with every option you could think of, and yet, they are still stolen like candy from a baby. If people want your car, their going to get it.

My best suggestion for security? A freakin' garage...at work my wife's S2000 and my CL-S sit in a secured garage, and at home they sit in a garage, if someone gets in our house for our cars, lord help them, i tend to take action and ask question later...that and brinks will have the cops there in about 5min.

well insurance is high still due to acura name and the rate that their cars are stolen, which isn't fair.. the market is saturated with the cars, so yes they are bound to be on the stolen list.

If someone really wants your car, regardless of the make, they are going to get it.

it's called a flatbed... the only way it'll make it harder to steal is a boot, but that usually occurs when u get a ticket...lol

some idiot on crsx had his car stolen, but it was only because he left the keys either in the car, or right near it.
