you can maybe get 5-10 hp at the wheels...maybe As for the adjustable cam gears. You will want to adjust them on the dyno to get the best results.

I got jack from my camgears. With a header, cat back, and intake I hit 125hp, added the gears and peaked at 128 but picked up nothing else significant anywhere in the band.

forget the gears. go turbo and you will see the hp gain that you want

Default Just as a contrast....

We did about 10 pulls with mine. We tried many different combinations and got almost nothing. It seemed like we could move the intake cam just about anywhere and get an identical plot. The exhaust cam was the only place where we picked up anything at all. I am using HKS authentic ZC camgears. The guy who was doing the tuning seemed to know what he was doing and said he'd never seen a motor less responsive to camgear tuning than the ZC including SOHC motors. Again, this was just my experience. The above post sounds much different.

Skip it and save for turbo. I went turbo on mine about 1 month ago, and to me, it feels like a bigger increase over the ZC than the ZC did over the stock Si motor. The turbo is well worth the time it takes to save the cash. The cam gears were a big disappointment.

your not gonna get much from cam gears youl probaly get nothign zc motors have self adjusting cam gears, that little silver thing at the bottom left hand corner of the motor is what does it, the most you might get it like 2 hp with like 2 hours on the dyno its not worth the money or time, youl spend like 500 bucks for 2 hp, dont waste your time , spend the cash on cams web cams and jg make good ones , and i just heard somthing about jun makin somthing

I agree...I've never heard of a ZC having self-adjusting cam gears...Has anyone else heard of this?...Can anyone else prove/disprove this?...Just want to make sure everyone gets the right info, ya know?...later

hahahaha, yeah, the silver thing at the bottom left hand corner of the motor.

THat's the CYL position sensor. To quote the service manual:
"The CYL sensor detects the position of NO.1 cylinder for sequential fuel injection to each cylinder."

It has nothing to do with cam timing. Cam timing on every honda is FIXED unless you buy an adjustable gear.

I think I could modifiy a Nissan VTC on a ZC... then we could have varible cam timing.. hah..

I adjusted my intake cam Advanced 4' and dropped my 1/4 .2 all the other adjustments really didnt do to much with stock cams.
