Default Custom Sub Enclosure

Im sure everyone is going to say SEARCH but I have no idea what to search for on this topic. So heres what is going on. I have 2 12s in a 92 lude. Now that I have a rear tie bar, and relocated battery, my subs dont fit. I wont be putting the back seat in because I dont have everything needed and my harness mounts in the middle of the area. Heres my idea, thoughts. Build a box that sits flush in place of where the backs of the seats would be in the back, and extend the box into the trunk area as necessary. However my question is how will this sound. I know if I turn my subs and face them towards me in the original box, they are not as near loud. Any thoughts or comments are welcome. Its either this or make a box that fits into the spare tire well.

make the box sealed just to give you less problems. build the box to fit factory specs for the sub. it won't matter much if it's slid deeper into the trunk by a foot or not. build it to factory specs and your good to go.

so make them face the trunk... it's not that hard. are you saying that they will hit the hatch? then angle the box.

I know its not that hard. I am asking what is best before I go and make a box. The box will not be removable or it will be a pain in the ***, so before I go and make it I want to know what will sound the best. Im thinking the spare tire well.
