His insurance should cover all the damage no problem.

Of course you can go through his insurance company. He is supposed to have everything he is carrying properly stowed away. Nothing is supposed to be flying out. I used to landscape and got a ticket for not having a tarp over the grass clippings. But that is another story. Sue his insurance. Hopefully you got all his info.

I got a rock chip in my window from a rock truck. Called the number on the back and bitched them out about it. I got a check in the mail a couple weeks later for 300 bucks. I dunno about sueing them, but you can get something out of them. Sorry to hear about what happened.

I was actually on the highway one time and a rock from the construction fell into traffic. It was a big *** rock and a rwd truck kicked it up through my winsheild at like 80mph. Talk about scary. All i did was call the highway patrol and they did a report. Then i went to the construction companies office and they paid me 800 dollars for the winsheild and little scratches up my hood. I was kinda happy it happened bc in fl a winsheild is covered for free. And the scratches were easily touched up.So confront the company they will probably take responsibility for it bc they dont wanna deal with lawsuits.

The company should just cut you a check from their insurance company. Just get the estimate and send them a copy and you should get a check for that ammount then go about fixing it however you want to. Well this is how i did it when i had that problem.
