Default Help...what is this plug for? pics here.

I know the broken plug goes to some type of relay. It is located on the driver's side engine bay right behind the antifreeze reservoir tank. It looks like the other one pictured but located on the driver's side. The other one pictured is in like the same area but on the passengers side. I was wondering if i should get that fixed and put a new relay in it...or if i really need it or not. If anyone knows what it is let me know.

oohhh. maybe that was why the left headlight wasn't working afterwards. i have some projectors on my car...and the left side didn't turn on anymore...so i just cut the ground wires from the harness...and grounded them on the car and they seem to work. So that's all it's for?
