Skunk2 vs ITR Manifold
Which would you guys do? I've been told that with the Skunk2 IM...you'll lose low end power. What about if you modified an ITR manifold to fit? Is it pretty much pointless?
The Skunk2 manifold is designed to mate up with a variety of heads (see below). The ITR manifold flanges are shaped differently so you cannot simply bolt one to your Integra. As you may know, the manifold is shaped differently than the GSR manifold so it is able to flow with less restriction.
Integra GSR 1.7L DOHC VTEC 92-93
Integra GSR 1.8L DOHC VTEC 94-01
Integra GSR 1.8L DOHC VTEC 97-98, 00-01
Integra GSR 1.8L DOHC NON-VTEC 90-01
Civic SI 1.6L DOHC VTEC 99-00
Civic SI 1.6L DOHC VTEC 94-97

isnt the skunk 2 one port and polished?
I just had someone email me saying that when he had it on his 2000 gsr...the power seemed to be there at 4000-6500...but afterwards...didn't seem to wanna go to 8000 anymore. Also told me that the vtec crossover wasn't noticeable anymore cuz it's single stage. Says I should use the Skunk2 if it's turbo or high modified internally.
Anyone else have any problems?

For stock GSR cams, I would say keep the stock manifold. But with my ITR cams, it made difference up top. The car pull alot longer than it did with the Stock manifold.

The differences between the two are minor. I doubt you will notice a huge difference between the two. The big advantage of the Skunk2 one is the ability to bolt one to B18C.
I love my skunk2...
The skunk2 is not a good mod to be done first though... if you have done nothing on the intake side (CAI, bored throttlebody) then it will not be as noticeable...
The first thing I noticed when I installed it was the instant tone change on the intake... I also noticed nice gains on the topend... Of course I would notice much more with some better flowing headers...
The skunk2 is a great part, but it is only one thing in a good amount of mods to prepare to get the best gains from it...
