what kinda lube do you use to lube your chain

is lithium grease ok?

bel ray chain spray... pj1 made a HUGE mess, lithium grease..... no, dont use that.. go spend the money on the bel ray ****.. it sprays on like wd=40, you ride for 15 min atleast and heat the chain up and spray it on a warm chain.. wait 15 min after spraying and ur done...... its not messy, it looks like milk.... good ****

bel ray is what I use and was recomended by a lot of folks/shops. I might try and get the regular chain lube instead of the super clean chain lube because I'm not a big fan of the "white" look of the super clean

i also use bel ray. worked well for me, never any problems. cept i had chrome wheels and it kind of made a mess oon the wheels. oh well

Noob here, but if you use the bel ray lube (or any lube for the matter), do you have to clean it first, like w/ WD-40? Or do you just spray it on after the ride?

I have been using CRC white lithium grease for 2 years now with no problems...It says on the bottle can be used for chains and sprockets...
