Need to order a sheet of aluminum to cover the interior side of the door (car is an hour away thus the request). Anyone here have the rough (largest) dimenions of the interior most section of the door (psg. in particular but know no reason why it would differ from the driver side). Basically need to know the tallest point and widest point of the vinyl/fabric door liner. Ahh, this is for a 88-91 CRX.

I would say 2' x 4' sheet should cover it...

Thank you 88DXCRX. I was eyeing some 24"x48" sheets but since the next step up is in 12" increments on one dimension, 48" on the other (36" x 48" and next size up, 12"/24"/36"/48" x 8'), I was kinda hoping to know the margin of error. I only "need" to cover edge to edge (x by y) but wouldn't mind having some wrap around on the bottom rear if I rememeber how the door is shaped. If you are saying that tip to toe is no greater than 4' horizontally then I feel pretty good about a 2x4 sheet.

 

If you are loooking at the flat panel,
2' x 4' gives you around 2 inches on all four sides...
