Default EG B18C SWAP kNOCK SENSOR WIRING. HELP!!

Im dropping a JDM b18c SIR in my cousins EG dx. I was wondering if i could run a wire from the knock sensor directly to the ecu. When i was taking the knock sensor wire of the JDM harness, i noticed that the knock sensor had a ground wire tapped in to it. I want to find out if i have to run only ONE wire for the knock sensor to the ecu, or run ONE power wire and ONE ground wire for the knock sensor. Thanks

ground the wire that comes from the shielding on the knock sensor to the thermostat housing then extend the knock sensor wire to the shock tower, u can use pins from the JDM harness to get that factory look then run a wire from the shock tower to ..... I believe D3 pin on the ecu, you will have a clean factory style wiring.....

I'm using a 2 wire plug on my knock without grounding the second wire. No problems at all. I thought the sensor grounds itself to the block.

wire that I grounded was just from the shielding off the stock wire harness, I grounded it because honda had it grounded in the harness. probably not entirely nessacary.
