easiest way to tell if i have type s cams?
Just bought a new head supposedly "type s"....anyone know the best way to tell if its type s or not? Head has a mild P and P, so just lookin at the cams how can i tell?
The only way I know of is you have to measure the lobes.
I've heard of a number of scams where people sell regular H22 cams as Type S.

no way to tell by looking at them. they are a bit bigger than the US ones. i bought a set and the only way to tell is with a reciept, or comparing them side by side.
I would think maybe using a digital caliper you could see a size difference in the lobes, but I myself have never measured Type-S cams to compare to stock.
