A BUDDY OF MINE RECENTLY HIT HIS FIFTH GEN PRETTY BAD ..HE CRASHES STRAIGHT FORWARD INTO AN F150'S TOW HOOK..JUST PUSHIN IN EVERYTHING NASTY..PRETTY MUCH THE ONLY THING UNDER THE HOOD THAT SURVIVED WERE THE MOTOR AND TRANNY..SO HE HAS NO INSURANCE..DO YOU THINK HE SHOULD JUST TRY AND FIND A NEW CLIP OR PART IT OUT AND START ON A NEW PROJECT...I PERSONALLY THINK HE SHOULD GET A NEW RIDE..HE ON THE OTHER HAND WANTS TO FIX IT..GOOD OR BAD IDEA?

It all depends how bad the damage actually is, not the over exaggerated version you tell us. Post pics if you can get them. If the frame of the car is bent, go ahead and part it out because it will only cause him trouble.

 

it sounds like u only thing that is bad and needs to be cut and welded in is the rad support...this sounds like a pretty easy fix....post some pics!!!!

really just a new radiator support huh...as i said nothing in the front is salvageable except for tranny(shot!) and motor..and his little bumper lights haha...the frame is mildly bent but not too bad...the reason he got no insurance is because he didnt have his license when he bought the car so he got insurance for his girl only..when he got his license he wanted insurance for the both of them so he cancelled insurance that he had to get sum new kind for both..he didnt have insurance for like a week when it happened...i appreciate the help from the people who are willing to listen..but to those flamin f@gs...who just wanna talk trash and not help out when all i asked was a question..blow me..i mostly know about 240's..i have no idea about preludes..so yuk yuk yuk

 

that should probably be left up to he insurance company, if the car is salvagable it won't be totaled, if its totaled, then part it out

 

Post some pics of the car....Has your friend gone to see how much the damage is worth?

we gotta see it befor we can say anything..... aslong as the engine frame and tranny are good i would fix it... save the lude
