The Bsq kit is nice but if you have a Rear lower tie bar, you won't be able to use it again. The kit gets in the way of the mounts of the lower tie bar. So its either or. The sway bar or the tie bar.

Will came up with a way to use both by supplying an additional pair of LCA bolts and aluminum spacers. The bolts are an extra 1/2" longer and the spacers are 1/2" too. I installed the ITR rear swaybar w/ the Neuspeed lower tie bar a couple of weekends ago and it worked out just fine...woulda been better if I could have taken off my exhaust and extra bonus if I had an extra pair of hands to help me hold up the bar while lining up the bracket and mounting kit. I ended up using an AEM CAI box and my foot to hold one end up.

Useful tools to have: drill w/ various drill bits (a must), dremel, hammer, 10mm bolt & 12mm bolt (to punch out the tack-welded nuts - they're in there a lot tighter than you would think too).

BTW, thanks Jeff for the oil filters. My friend and I will be putting those to good use at Gingerman.

Thats a plus for the spoon bar, even tho its likeone of the best already. Did they desgin it to work with the sway bar like that, or just happened? I think the itr sway bar is gonna be my next mod.

Hm...will the comptech rear tie bar fit with the ITR rear sway bar with BSQ's mounting kit?

How about Benen's lower tie bar?

It just happens to clear the Type-R rear swaybar. The Spoon rear lower tie bar requires no modifications to work with the Type-R rear swaybar.

Yes, since the Comptech rear lower tie bar mounts to the underside of the suspension subframe.

Yes, junglistgsr has the Benen installed with the Type-R rear swaybar (w/BSQ mounting kit). I have seen a picture of the Benen and the Type-R rear swaybar (I think junglistgsr posted it a couple of months ago), but I could find it with the search. Maybe junglistgsr can post the picture again.

OK, I finally found a picture of the Benen rear lower tie bar installed with the Type-R rear swaybar.

I also found a picture of the Comptech rear lower tie bar, but it isn't installed with the Type-R rear swaybar. But it will not make a difference, since it mounts on the underside.

Its true that you can use both, but I didn't like the idea of using spacers. I wasn't sure if it was safe enough. But now that I see other people using this method. I will have to install my DC Rear lower bar.

BSQ: Thanx for the pics. Btw, I received the mounting kit. Thanx alot!

JeffNA: Are you installing the DC rear lower tie bar for looks? You probably know DC bars are strictly for looks, right? If I were you, I'd try to sell the DC bar, save up some money, and get either a spoon, comptech, neuspeed, or benen rear lower tie bar. Just a suggestion. (My friend has the silver DC lower tie bar on his silver integra and it does look neat)
