Default a mustang guy aggrivated at his 96 ex...gas mileage, water leak, door continually locking

hey

im not a newbie when it comes to cars, but im somwhat of a newbie when it comes to imports(other car is a 5.0). i have a couple of questions that hopefully wont sound too newbieish or stupid :S

first and foremost...my car leaks. the rear passenger side seat gets,on the bottom, gets wet, and only that. not the floor, not the top of the seat, just underneath it. why? i cant quite tell where its coming from, but it seems to be coming from the corner where the seatbelt is bolted to the car. why would water be coming from this area? would it have something to do with one of the sunroof drains?

next..
when i lock the doors, regardless of how i do it,passenger or drivers, key or by the switch, they keep trying to lock. why? door lock actuator going bad or something? if so, which one, how can i test?could it be a bad ground?

finally, this is more, i guess you could say a "ricer"question,but...i just put some 18's on my accord..knocked off 2 mpg on hwy (34 to 32)and a lil more in city. the wheels+tires are the same height has factory(35 series 18's) but i know its the weight thats killin me. and with gas like 2.30 in florida..ugh,its not hurting my wallet much, but i dislike it none the less. what can i do? more power?
this is where i have a prob with my honda, otherwise i love it. i put an h-pipe w/flowmasters just like evry other retard in the world who has a mustang (or domestic v8) on my mustang, and i noticed a difference. ive seen dyno's on newer stangs that get 20 to almost 30 rear wheel hp by changing the exhaust.

i know i wont get those type results on my lil 2.2, so what can i do aside from buy lighter wheels or put stock back on?

hopefully i dont sound too dumb, but any help would be appreciated.dont fry me too hard please.
thanks

terrance

Lighter wheels+ ebay intake (get a cheap intake and put a K&N filter on it)+ exhaust will improve your mpg.

When I did intake+ exhaust on my Accord it seems like i got 4mpg better than before.

You'll also want to alter your driving habits. The accord isnt a mustang and it wont go any faster no matter how much you floor it Just watch your speeds etc and the fuel will be manageable.

Mostly though its those wheels.

I'd look into a set that weighs not much mroe than the stock setup at all...and I definitely wouldnt have gone over 17's.

I'd look at the Rota sale going on here, the wheels are cheap and they are very lightweight. Theres a guy thats selling them in the wheels section for less than 500 shipped a set, and there are some nice 4x114.3 (or 4x4.5, you domestic boy) Rota Subzeros that have some nice colors
