Default 90 accord, feels like its missing @ 1500-2200 rpm, only after it warms up, new tune up did not fix.

90 accord - It feels like its missing mildly at about 1500 rpm, but only after it reaches operating temp. As soon as thermostat opens, it starts hesitating during normal acceleration after stopping. If you give it a little extra gas pedal, it gets thru it and runs great. I put in new cap, rotor, plugs, wires. Had no effect. Tried bypassing the coolant thru the IAC, that had no effect. Cleaned the IAC, no effect. HELP, its driving me nuts!! Please let me know if you have any ideas what to try next..THANKS

i second that, but the port cleaning shouldnt take you more than an hour if you have a slide hammer.

here's something easy to try... disconnect the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor), located on the back of the throttle body. I had a similar problem with my 93 h22 accord, and it fixed the problem although it idles at 1500 rpms. I don't have the money to replace mine right now, but it is working great without it, and maybe it is the problem on yours too. Without any check engine codes it is really hard to diagnose problems, but good luck!

It looks like I should try cleaning the egr ports, (overwhelmingly)... first. Thanks for the all of the other ideas. I will let you all know what I come up with!! THANKS.
PS, Also bought a auto trans shift cable on ebay, It was really good price compared to dealer. I am pretty sure its my problem, thanks to this FORUM !!!!!!
