D16A6 Mini Me On D15B Engine General Questions
I did search but nothing came up in the million returns I got on the search.
Im being sent a D16A6 set up to convert my D15B to MPFI. Im getting the whole set up for the conversion (minus the dist). Anyways the problem I see here is that the ECU I have in my CRX now if for an automatic transmission since that is what I have in my car. The ECU that is coming with the swap is for a manual transmission. Is there a way that I can still do this swap so that I can use it with my auto transmission?
Im assuming that the ECUs are not going to be usefull since one is auto and for DPI and the other one is manual for MPFI. Anyone know of an ECU that would work if either one of these will not work or is this not going to be a problem at all?
Thanks

I think I jsut saw someone in classifieds selling an auto to manual conversion for 40 bucks....you should PM him.....
yeah, 90-91 civic ex's had a possible automatic and used the d16a6. but i think you'll find the biggest difference in swapping the tranny out than the cylinder head. its not that hard if you have some tools.
