His new toy. He had a 1969 (I think) Dino he traded in on a 1990 348 GT. He just traded in the 348 for this 1999 355 F1. It's got carbon fiber everywhere, a paddle shifter, and rear lower diffusers. Not sure I agree with the wheel choice though.

 

It amazes me how much money people will spend to make a car look like ***.

- 02' Porsche Turbo

And he is cool enough to let us drive them at track events

Having a boss that is into the same stuff that you are into is usually a good thing

 

I got to drive the 348 once and thought it was actually pretty tame. For some reason I thought it would be more difficult to drive. Too bad he's not into track days. I'm working on him though. I told him if I was able to pull faster lap times in my Civic, I'd keep it quiet.

my ideal modern Ferrari would be a 355 GTB (targa top) with a 6-speed.

 

I really like the gated shifters on Ferraris, but damn, that F1 poo poo is badass. It shifts fast as fock too!

Those are not Speedlines. They are a forged wheel made by SAC wheels that are sold through Champion Motorsports. I think that you can also buy them directly from SAC though. VERY Strong, VERY light, and VERY expensive..... They were at one time called Speedline America, but that was just the name, no relation to Speedline IT.
