Default replacement antenna

Some nerd-head broke the antenna off of my 3rd gen. Can I relplace the antenna or do I have put a whole new motor and stuff in it. Also what is the easiest way to replace the antenna if I can do just that?
Thnx

pull out the trunk lining and unbolt the motor. You'll have to unscrew the silver ring on the base of the shaft as well (outside the car). pull everything out, and take a look, its pretty self-explanitory.

<--- has a 1.5' cell phone antenna for a radio antenna. light weight!

the same thing happened to my '90 Si, and I can't find any at the junkyard or anything, they're all roof mount, I just stuck a home radio in the hole and it works alright, until I can find one.

If it's a power antenna how did they break it off? You can by a universal power unit for $60 at Crutchfields. That's what I used to replace the one in my 4G, installs pretty easily. It will retract when parked so nobody can snap it off.
