actually i juz wanted to see what some ppl would say about it....its actually my buddies car, he put a 92 - 95 civic 2dr oem lip on his car and looks exactly like a si-vtec to me. so i was jus tryin to see if we could trick anyone. At least he didn't have to pay for or find a actual si-vtec lip...hahaha if you wanna see more i have more pics jus tell me!!!!!!!

har har har. that wasn't nice.

i thought about this idea awhile back but didn't wanna ruin a perfectly good si lip. does it fit w/out modification? does it wrap completely around or is it short?

 

we had to modify...it was too short!

post up some pics of what you did to the lip, im interested on how you got everything to fit perfectly and such...fooled me tho

 

my friend held a ex lip to the bumper of his car and measured how short it was, then he cut the ex lip in half and then took another ex lip and cut out the middle section of how much he measured then he used some jd welding shiet or sumtin like that and put them together. then sanded away the unwanted bumps from the welding shiet and then painted it wit flatblack spray paint.....then bought some self tapping screws and diouble sided sticky tape.... then bam si-vtec lip Yo!! haha it cost about 50 cents for the screws thats all we spent on the whole project... its better than buying or looking for a si-vtec lip.....but its only temporary so who cares!

so lets see a picture of the whole thing, instead of a 6 inch section.

also he wrecked 2 lips worth ~$50. bad idea in my opinion, but ill wait for a full picture before i fully decide. not to mention the jbweld might crack pretty easy....

so, more pics i guess.

 

yeah. i did cut up 2 ex lips but oh well. they were just laying around anyways and who cares.. i dont own a civic... also. the jbweld is pretty sturdy hasnt cracked yet!! ahhaha but sooner or later it probably will. thats what im afraid of but im just messing around with this junk until i get some money and get a real lip.. i have more pics but ill post later

 

actually now that I look at it you can tell its not.

the ends are to skinny, wonder how it looks with fullsize pics.

 

Looks like a EG lip, seems flatter than the SI-VTEC lip.

 

hahaha yeah it is an EG lip.. its my car.. i like it!!
