i have the chance to buy an lsvtec complete swap for 1600, is that a good price? he said he had it in his car for 5000 miles up until he wrecked it. he will also help me install it and told me he would refund me the money if it didnt run. i plan on taking it apart and throwing in some cams an other goodies. im also going to try and talk him down to 1400..it cant hurt to ask . this is going into my newly accuired stock 92 civic dx sedan, can you say sleeper. so lets hear some opinions, should i get it or go with a b16 swap from hmotors so i can legally smog it?

-stage 2 clutch ??
-hayame adj. cam gears
-96 ls block (stock internals)
-99 si head (stock)
-p72 ecu
-axels
-mounts

if the condition is good then the deal is not too bad.

 

for a complete motor with a tranny thats not bad at all.

 

thats actually pretty good IMO.....1600 for a complete swap and if it doesn't start he'll refund the money!!! damn i'd say jump on it asap......
