Salvage Inspection
Here in NY, you need to go through a special salvage inspection to make sure the vehicle is structurally safe and no stolen parts were used to reconstruct the vehicle. I imagine most other states have something simliar. You are not supposed to drive the vehicle to the salvage inspection site because it isnt registered yet. My question is, will the inspection people really care if I drive it there? I have no truck and none of my friends really have a truck either. Ive been told by many people that they dont really care but I wanted to hear your guys stories. Of course I am insured/inspected etc. If they do care...can I stop a block away and push vehicle to the place?

If you don't want to pop for renting a trailer/truck then just ride it up and take a chance. If you do, come off as a well prepared rider, proper gear, necessary paper work, n such.
