Default What offset for 15 x 7.5" ??

I plan on getting the Work Equip 03 wheels for my 00SI but want to get the 7.5" over the 7". I figure if i'm gonna spend that much I might as well get some serious LIP action. What do you guys recommend for an offset or a range of offsets that will let it work with a 96-00 Civic. I plan on putting 205 series tires to help a little bit tuck under the wells but also some negative camber once the car is cornerweighted with Tein Flex's too.

35mm?
38mm?

or what?

use a 38 offset as your car doesn't allow for much wheel play under the fender.

why have the extra weight of the 7.5 width and not take advantage of the real estate for a wider tyre. a 205 will fit fine even on a 6.5 width.

you wanna know why? because some people want that stretched look with the tire around the rim so if someone was to put a 195 on a 7" wide wheel then they are already downgrading to a smaller tire with less performance for the street. So if you go with a 7.5" wide wheel then you can fit the exact same tire that you orginally had on a popular 7" wheel. You get the same performance, but you can see the lip more with the stretched effect. When you go with old school wheels such as Work, BBS, Blitz 01, SSR reverse mesh, then you want that effect. As least, that's the effect I want.

I ordered (2) 15 x 7.5" 42mm offset and (2) 15 x 7.5" 44mm offset. thanks for the help guys.

Azenis are not your typical 205.. They feel like garbage on anything less than 7" wheel. Response and turn-in is horrible.

Stan,

I bet I will get some lip with the offset I chose because Work helped me pick it.

42mm offset = 1.25" lip (fronts)
44mm offset = 1.8" lip (rears)

biggest lips you can go on a Honda Civic without crazy modification or rolling of the fenders.
